Pastor Lule James from Pure Mission of Christ Church (PMCC) attended the training, and he was challenged to be more intentional in the support he is giving to the Children’s church. He was very thankful for the uniqueness of this Biblical model, and he is determined to be more engaged in the classes with children.
He especially said the response to the teaching of the good news of Christ was a powerful thing that was useful to all ages as they each needed to immediately respond to the life-transforming truth and to keep responding as they go about their day-to-day lives. In the interactions and shearing with him, he reminded me of something a senior pastor said: “The soul of the Ugandan children is up for grabs. The church must take its place.
This ministry fills a huge gap, which I feel every day as a minister of the gospel”. This profound statement is the reason we carry out Vision castings before training the children’s church workers. We strive to reach out to as many evangelical churches in Uganda with this life transforming Children’s ministry.
